The book “Converting Failure into Success – Construction Projects” describes the key issues pertaining to success and failure of construction projects. Typically, construction projects have been infamous for time overrun, cost escalation, quality deterioration and scope compromises. “What is a successful project?”. About the Author: Er. Kundan Singh is an IDSE officer under Govt of India. He is Civil Engineering graduate from MNNIT Allahabad and postgraduate from IIT Delhi. He obtained his MBA in O&R and PG Diplomas in Management, Operation Management and Human Resources Development respectively. Having more than thirty years’ experience in planning, designing, execution and management of large, multidisciplinary and complex projects, he has been instrumental in successfully turning around many a sick project under his supervision.

He has a deep passion for project management which is manifested through various projects implemented by him without time and cost overrun. The huge success of his first book ‘Project Management - Evolution to Solution’ has motivated him to come up with this book with an eye for bringing a cultural shift in the implementation of construction projects from a failed cultural syndrome to a culture of success.
