Plant propagation by tissue culture is devoted entirely to laboratory methods of propagation. The major steps in the development of plant tissue culture have been made 40 to 70 years ago. Growth under sterile conditions on artificial nutrient medium was achieved in the 1930s. The requirements of inorganic and organic nutrition and plant growth regulators were established in the 1950s and 1960s. During the same period, adventitious shoot formation, somatic embryogenesis, axiliary branching, protoplast culture and haploid production were achieved. Now there are many tissue culture labs all over the world to train or give awareness classes for both common people and students. Thus we have to learn more about this technology to save our nature and can also be used to gain money.
