About the Author: Shivcharan Jaggi Kusaa, popularly known as Jaggi Kussa, was born in the village of Moga, in the district of the same name. He immigrated to Germany in 1986 and moved in London in 2006. He is one of the most prolific contemporary Punjabi writers. He has to his credit more than a dozen novels, many of which are critically acclaimed.
Two of his novels have also inspired the making of Punjabi films - Sada Haq and Toofan Singh.
Known for his raw, straight from the heart writing style, his novel - Purja Purja Katt Mare set the stage for this versatile author in the Punjabi literary world. He is the winner of the Nanak Singh Novelist Award.
