About the Author: I am an Engineer living and working in Doha, Qatar. My early education was mostly in science and technology, but I  soon got interested in humanities, particularly political science and philosophy. After that, I have remained a lifelong student of arts, sciences, and philosophy. I have always nursed and nourished a flair for creative writing and poetry, in the wake of which I have written several stories, essays, and poems and won several awards in my school and college days. Recently, I was given the Best Essay award by ICC, Doha.

I was born and brought up in the suburbs of Mumbai and my early days were challenging yet interesting. With an exploring nature and the privilege to live and work in various places both in India and abroad, I had the opportunity to closely observe various locales and communities. This contributed greatly to the formulation of thoughts and ideas that were penned down in form of stories, essays, and poems.

I was aware very early of my desires and inclinations for writing, however, it was very long before I could complete a task in the wake of life’s innumerable priorities and responsibilities. With your support and encouragement, I now hope to pursue it more steadily and actively.  I am sure you will enjoy reading this inspiring and delightful book and welcome your views and suggestions as my guide for further improvement in effort and ideas.
