Kahaniya
Kahaniya is a Hindi poetry book written by two first-time authors, Kaiser Haque and Musharraf Sheikh. The poems constituting the book are all directed for different purposes, some to take you down your memory lane and make you live once again the life that you love and others to cry out a strong social message — female harassment, communal violence and peace, slavery and more.
The poems are supposed to take you through a rollercoaster ride of emotions, making you smile at some verses of a poem and leaving you in tears with those that follow.
Seeing the downtrend in the interest of people in reading Hindi/Urdu poetry books due to use of high level of the languages, the two poets have tried keeping the usage of words as simple and fathomable as possible. It's a great chance for you to finally delve into Hindi/Urdu poems and shayaris without having to stop to check for words in the dictionary.
