It has been observed that the laws governing hospital and medical personnel are mind-numbing and monotonous for pedagogues, students and medical practitioners alike. This book is a sincere attempt to make the material interesting and easy to read.

The book has made it easier to understand and recall the CrPC/IPC sections as well as Indian Laws. Acts and Regulations about hospitals and medical personnel, not just post-mortem examinations. New revisions to the relevant sections, as well as recent developments in the laws governing children, sexual offences, drug control, negligence and hospital legal procedures, have been incorporated.

This is a handy reference book for Doctors, Lawyers and the Police when dealing with Medico-legal cases, as well as for the general public to learn about the rights and responsibilities of the Doctor-Patient relationship in Indian hospitals.
