About the Author: Rao is twelve years old and she lives in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. She was born in the USA and moved to India with her parents. She took to writing at a very young age and expresses her thoughts and ideas through poems, stories and art. Her writings are typically based on fiction sprinkled with humor, drama, suspense and thrill.

Since she was little, she was fascinated by books and always enjoyed reading them. She would read books from different genres, ranging from fantasy to fiction and non-fiction.

She started writing at the age of five, stories based on her imagination and it has been her way of expressing herself ever since. As she grew older, she has moved on to write stories on more realistic topics with profound meanings. She is fascinated by movies also and their making and has written some scripts on the same.

She draws her inspiration from nature and is an animal lover. She has a pet dog named Pluto with whom she spends a lot of her time.
