Reminisce of the lost land

Louise was born at Nice, a place quite close to Cannes, the gateway to the most prestigious film festival. She is a film director in an organisation which makes documentary films for television.

Failures made her stronger than before, and she accepts the difficult assignment of visiting India to direct a documentary film for the royal family of Bhangasura. It was an era when these royal families were unknown to the French world.

The emotional feelings of Louise take one through the uniqueness of the place, her stay in the fort. It gradually indulges the reader through her reminisces of the stories she heard about the individual personalities of the rulers, Diwan and his family – reflecting their characters and deeds.
