About the Author: Dr. P.C. Sikligar was associated with the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad from 1984 to 2018 as a faculty and consultant. He has conducted a number of research studies (25) as an individual researcher including 04 sponsored by different Ministries and 15 research studies in groups covering two Action Research Projects. Dr. Sikligar has 09 books as a sole author,05 books as a coauthor, 51 articles in various national and international journals, 10 papers published in edited volumes, 20 books reviewed and published in different journals, etc. Dr. Sikligar has conducted a number of training programmes for the functionaries of rural development, panchayati raj and welfare departments.
