Star trails, is a collection of about 40 poems (rounded off to nearest 10)- most of them abstract in nature. From war, ageing, superpowers to maths, dancing, lights or just about death- the list is completely entropic. They have all been written over a long range of time- some around 7 years ago and some just a few days before publishing them. The poet has spent most of his life in science and in pursuit of reason and truth; and so nothing defines this book better than Samuel Johnson’s quote- ‘Poetry is the art of uniting pleasure with truth’. Hoping that you discover the same unity in the text and in the world around you.

Vaibhav Varun, is a 20 something, yet another member of the species homo sapiens on Planet Earth (though he carries no pride in being so). Apart from writing- he has ventured into the Arctic Circle or just at times- jumped out of a plane. Of the defined and accepted humanly pursuits – he loves traveling, reading, writing, working at geeky stuff or simply cooking. Of the undefined and unaccepted humanly pursuits- he loves exploring art and science in the nature, talking deep stuff to fellow members of his species and most of the times- criticizing the education system. He has been engaged in popularizing science and arts through his writings and public speeches and has visited more than 500 institutes for the same. He is currently residing in Moscow, Russia
