Dr. Manmal M. Begani is a renowned Laparoscopic Surgeon in India with over 43 years of experience over 100,000 surgeries. He completed Masters in Surgery from Sardar Patel Medical College, India and has worked at St. Mark’s Hospital, UK. His passion in Day Surgery led him to become the Founder President of Indian Association of Day Care Surgery. He has set-up and leads a patient centric day surgery called Abhishek Day Care Health Services in Mumbai, India.

He has authored various books (incl. 2 books on Anaesthesia for Day Care Surgery). Furthermore, he has published award-winning research papers and international journals on General Surgery. He has led 8 special issues on day care surgery, minimal invasive surgery and coloproctology as a guest editor for Bombay Hospital Journal.
