About the Author: Gautam Vegda is a poet and research scholar pursuing his M.Phil. in Central University of Gujarat. He completed his B.A and his masters in English Literature and now studying his M.Phil. course in Comparative Literature department. He has been living in Gandhinagar since the last decade. He has recently published his poetry collection under the title of Vultures and other poems which includes Dalit, gender, women and other marginal issues.

His debut book was published worldwide in June 2018 with the forward written by an Australian poet Kathryn Hummel. Gautam Vegda majorly focuses to write on violence, caste-based oppression, women issues and social evils. Gautam possesses a trenchant poetic amenity and has been active in many literary and non-literary activities.
