Crossing Capital: A Guide to International Mergers & Acquisitions

  • ₹ 200.00

The curriculum booklet demonstrates my sustained interest in economics, particularly in the interplay between markets, public policy, and organization-level decision-making to shape growth outcomes. The work extends beyond economic results to examine the decisions, incentives, and constraints that produce them.

My interest in this area grew from the analysis of the landmark cross-border transaction and its impact on the industry's competitive landscape. This prompted a deeper exploration of the strategic, financial, and regulatory dimensions of mergers and acquisitions, and how consolidation alters firm behaviour, market structure, and long-term incentives. Having written a research paper involving trade openness, I wanted to examine how cross-border investment strategies are constrained by regulation, policy risk, and institutional frameworks.

The booklet is structured around case analyses and simulations that test economic reasoning under conditions of uncertainty and growing accountability, allowing for assessment of how firms and governments balance expansion with long-term economic growth and other strategic considerations.  This is my attempt to share it with a larger audience.
