About the Author: Avinash Shaligram (M.Tech. IIT Bombay) has vast industry experience in Design, R & D and Manufacturing. This was followed by a successful academic career spanning 12 years. He was Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Pillai College of Engineering (Autonomous), New Panvel, Navi Mumbai which is affiliated to University of Mumbai.
