Easing the transition - From Engineering College to Industry
The Book is targeted/intended for Engineering students and fresh graduate engineers (with approximately 0 to 5 years of work experience) to know how an industrial organization operates, what is expected from them as employees in their first/new job, etc. It is kind of a self-help guide for freshers. Apart from the orientation as well as the skill sets required, the Book also dwells upon some of the management techniques/methods used to improve a company’s operations and profitability. While the book is intended for students of any discipline, a small section of the book revises some basic technical concepts for Mechanical engineers. Even for young engineers with some experience who want to pursue an entrepreneurial career, this book opens up a vista of knowledge which is not easily available in one place. All in all, the Book can help a student/fresh engineer to prepare for Interviews, placement and industrial working life.
