About the Author: The author Dr.O.Sasikumari, a doctor by profession, is now working as Associate Professor in Government Medical college, Kollam in Kerala, India.

She is a native of Kerala. She has won innumerable prizes for short story writing during her school days and college days. She had a regular column in the KGMOA (Kerala government medical officers’ association) journal of Kerala state. Some of her articles have been published in The Hindu and Woman’s era.
