Debalina Roychowdhury (Banerjee) is currently working as Senior Lecturer and In-charge of Placement Cell of Elitte Institute of Engineering & Management and visiting professor (Counselor) at IGNOU. Prior to this, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the department of English in Camellia Institute of Engineering. She completed her M.A. (English) double and B.A.(Hons.) and M.Phil. “Onubhuti Ekraash” an anthology of Bengali poems written by her was published in 2013 from Saurav Sahitya Patrika. Her essays on Mahabharata and many English poems are published in www.boloji.com and www.poemhunter.com.

Her core interests are in Mythologies and Epic Literature and W. B. Yeats’ poetry. Papers on these topics have been published in international referred journals. Scholarly papers on Feminism, Post-colonialism, Gender issues are published in International Journals and Books. Her paper on Mythological Paintings is published in UGC journal. A translated short story is also published in a recently published Anthology of Short stories.
