The primary focus of this book is to develop a reference material for the students of criminal law. In Ethiopia the library resources are not suffcient to supplement the readers with relevant materials and there is always a demand for good literature. Therefore the book is an initiative step to add into the available literature related to advanced issues on international and national criminal law. In the two volumes of book (Volume-I and Volume-II) the editors have tried to include some of the very pertinent issues of international and domestic criminal law. The book discusses many of the advanced issues of criminal law like hate speech in international criminal law, ecocide as a crime against peace, sexting, jurisdiction of International Criminal Courts, global gender issues, transnational organized crimes in the Volume-I. At the same time it presents some of the domestic issues in various countries like Ethiopia, India, US etc. The write-ups of the book are also focusing on criminal justice enforcement institutions in Ethiopia, the place of criminal liability in international crimes in domestic law of nations and several burning issues. As a whole the book has become a good reading for lawyers, academicians, researchers and students as criminal reference due to the efforts of various international authors with multidisciplinary professional backgrounds.
