Dixie is a little squirrel who lives with his parents in the Jangkoko woods. He sets off on an adventure to explore the woods all by himself. On his journey, Dixie meets different animals and befriends them. However, Dixie’s adventure does not go as planned and he ends up facing life-threatening challenges.

About the Author: David White the author of ‘Dixie Squirrel and the Woodland Folk’ resides in the Nottinghamshire countryside with his family. He has a lifelong love of animals and nature and the adventures of our furry friends were inspired by the wildlife in his garden. This story is dedicated to his family, in particular his grandchildren, who he hopes will one day imagine their own magical tales from the very same garden.
