Valley of the Mountain Goddess
The Valley of the Mountain Goddess is set in the evergreen tropical forests of South India, home to almost all the wildlife in Indian forests including elephants, bears and tigers. If trapped in the forest, survival in it is almost impossible for even for two men unless armed with firearms and warm clothing.
However, our two heroes, Sabu and Rajan, are trapped in a small valley with tall, steep rocks all around it armed only things they have with them are a machete, two cigarette lighters and a flask. It is believed to be the man eater goddess of the mountain tribes. In the very first night, Sabu listens to the terrible flapping of the wings of the goddess; the goddess is believed to have two powerful wings and four arms.
This is the story of their heroic survival in the valley and their final escape after a year.
