THE STORY OF A WALK
The four old men sat on chairs directly in front of a pull down screen nattering between themselves, each with overweight bottom protruding between the wooden seat and the wooden upright. Their old faces, chubby, proud and serious, did not seem excited by the spectacle: rather they talked as if they were watching opera and appreciated the art of the bull and the foolhardy extras.
Younger men sat at café table’s cheering and laughing at the foolhardy extras at play, wincing and pointing with great delight as one of the foolhardy trips, arms spread out like a goal keeper, preferable into the path of a stampeding bull. They were the ones who through their arms high into the air with a witty cheer, when a black angry bull horn grazed the flesh of a foolhardy, tossing him high like a doll to leave him shocked and dumfounded, bruised and silent, alone on a cobbled street.
