I  present  before  you  a  collection  of  short  stories  from  various  walks  of life,  the  pain  and pleasure experienced by people around us, the tales of struggle and love around us, the story of the emotions, aspirations and many others which will take you down to the memory lanes and you will feel the characters in and around you.  Adding to the above, it is my humble attempt  to  bring  forth  you,  certain  thoughts  and  ideas  which  come  to  my mind  and sometimes disturb me or make me think, and sometimes make me laugh or cry. I am not a great writer like Charles Dickens or Mark Twain, but I thought there are certain tales which  need to be presented before a larger volume of people, so that they also get to know and understand  the  people  living  around  them  and  their  lives.  I  would  like  to  thank  my  dear friends and family members, who encouraged me to write down my thoughts and feelings, providing me all the necessary support which they could. Special thanks to MeghaJauhari, Diplip  Choudhary  and VinuthaJadhav  and  all  my  Genpact,  Bangalore  colleagues  who  were always there to provide their suggestions and feedback on whatever I wrote. I would also like to  thank  and  extend  my  gratitude  to  all  the  readers  of  my  blog,  whose  love  and  affection prompted me to write more and more and motivated me to present my collection of stories before you. And yes, all the people and events which compelled me to write this book would always remain in my memory. Before the beginning of some of the stories, you will find the ‘Preface’ which I had written while writing blogs, and have decided not to remove them.
