Professor, Doctor Kaliaperumal M. P, B. E (Mechanical), M. Tech (Management & Systems-IITD), Ph.D., a permanent member of AI MA, and a member of YSS/SRF, started his practice of yoga during his school days. He had undergone yoga training from various eminent yoga teachers/ Institutes including Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, 68 Ashok Road, New Delhi - 110001, and got initiated by the great saint Swamy Ram of Rishikesh. He had undertaken special training at Aravind Ashram at Pondicherry during the early 1960s to keep his eyes always fresh and youthful.

He had worked for 14 years in Central Electricity Authority, a department of the Government of India, for 20 years in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, a central PSU of Maha Navarathna stature, and for 10 years as Director at age-old Anna University (Affiliated Colleges). Presently he is engaged in helping some NGOs, who are helping the rural poor youth and people to come up in their lives. Practicing yoga has helped him to maintain his weight constant at 62 kg since the age of 22, nearly 60 years as of now. He starts his day at 3.30 am with 2 hours of yoga practice and retires at 10.30 pm. Seeing the younger generation struggling to cope up with new challenges in their careers and life under the influence of fast-developing technology and scientific methods, he wants to share his experience of how to manage a stressful life at ease and maintain a HOLISTIC HEALTH with the practice of YOGA.
