About the Author: Veer Mehta, born in 2013 and raised in Mumbai, India, is a 9-year-old student attending Hillspring International School. His passion lies in percussion instruments such as the djembe and cajon, and he is currently honing his skills in playing the drums. Veer displays remarkable talent in table tennis and is actively involved in coaching. During his leisure time he enjoys playing football with his friends and dedicates himself to practicing on his drum set at home, regularly sharing his performances on his YouTube channel, “Extreme Drumming.” At school, he shines as an enthusiastic and bright student. Notably, his strong oratory skills have earned him numerous medals in Olympiad English and Math exams. Veer demonstrates open-mindedness and seamless teamwork, without engaging in conflicts, showcasing commendable leadership abilities. He incorporates advanced vocabulary into his writing, garnering appreciation from both teachers and peers. Apart from academics, Veer excels in technology skills. He is currently learning to code Arduino using Java and builds robots using various bricks, motors and sensors with the Lego EV3 Kit.
