About the Author: She is working as an assistant professor in Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Gwalior since 2012 and have teaching experience of more than 15 years.  She is coordinating numerous illustrious projects of Government of India like Swachhta Action Plan (SAP), Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat, Incredible India Tourist Facilitator (Heritage Advance Course), Integrated Regional Tourist Development Plan (for M.P. Tourism Development board). Hitherto, she had also worked in and completed many flagship programs for different Ministries of India like development of India's first UNESCO heritage tourism village, Raghurajpur, involvement in planning phase of Mahaparinirvana, Buddhist Circuit train for Ministry of Tourism and IRTDC, research projects on Women Dacoits for Ministry of Home Affairs, Rural tourism project for the village Pranpur, Madhya Pradesh for Ministry of Tourism, GoI and many other research projects. She has also authored a book titled ‘Culture and Heritage Resources of India’ in the year 2020. She is associated as a Governing Council Member since 2009 to INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage), a non-profit organisation aimed towards preservation and conservation of tangible and intangible heritage and historical monument. She is also holding the position of WICCI (Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce Industry) Rural Tourism Council president of Madhya Pradesh. 

She is working as a philanthropist, environmentalist and heritage expert for more than 20 years for which she is honoured with numerous awards to name a few ‘JCI Outstanding Young Personality – 2021’, ‘Limca Book of Records 2008, 2010, 2012’, ‘Swachhta Hi Seva award by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India 2020.
