This non-fiction work is quite interesting; especially for those who love adventure. In fact, it is a running commentary of live actions of a young field officer who worked out a counter espionage case and busted a deep rooted espionage network of Pakistan Intelligence, being run in the Capital of the Country.

The Author, through this book, wants to share some serious issues, including protection of informers and cooperation amongst various intelligence agencies; all related to National Security.

Besides the espionage activities of Robert and other spies nabbed; other chapters are also interesting; especially ‘The Encounter’, ‘Operation Sujawalpur’ and ‘Operation Blue Star and the Healing Touch’. Planning of apprehension of Mohammed Gulzar and Roopa Ram and its execution are mind blowing. The book could be useful for Police personnel, BSF and personnel of other Central Police Organisations.

Contents of the book are based on the first hand information of the author, or collected and verified by him through the most reliable sources. The reader, while reading the book, would feel that he himself is accompanying the author, or his contact.

About the Author: The author, a multidimensional personality, is an Ex BSF officer, who sought voluntary retirement after twenty years’ service and thereafter he has been practicing as an advocate. Although he has been in the legal profession and member of the bar for almost three decades, yet this long period could not make any change in his attitude, behaviour and discipline. Still he is a devoted soldier, always ready to make supreme sacrifice for a pious cause. An outstanding officer, Shri Arya was one of the highly educated officers of the Force.

A person of courage and conviction, he never compromised with his responsibilities contemporary conditions and self respect. It was only due to his frantic efforts that the innocent Kumar was acquitted. He staked his career and deposed against the State being a public servant, which is a rare phenomenon.

The Author, through this book, attempts at drawing the attention of all concerned- the top brass of uniformed services, Members of Parliament, Courts of Law and the citizens of this Country -towards the burning issues raised in the book.
