Milan and her family recently moved to live in a new city. Initially, she had a difficult time making friends and this would often make her sad. This deep inner longing for a good friend, inspired her to write and illustrate this story. About the Author: Milan is a delightful 5-year-old girl who lives with her twin brother Arjan and their parents. She has a vivid imagination and loves to come up with fun and inspirational animal stories. She likes to spend her day indulging in creative activities like painting, arts & crafts and playacting. Like all other children, she also loves to laugh, dance and play all day with her twin brother and her friends. Growing up in a mixed heritage household with Indian-American and European parents, she has had the opportunity to travel all over the world. Her travels have inspired many of her stories and she hopes to share more of these with you in the future.
