About the Author: Jhony Augusty was born in an orthodox Roman Catholic family in a picturesque locale of Kannur district, Kerala at the foot of the Western Ghats. Very early in his childhood, he showed remarkable interest in reading, especially fiction.
After completing his bachelor degree (B.A) in 1995, he started his career as a schoolteacher. Having worked in India for eight years, he moved to the Sultanate of Oman and taught English in the schools of the Ministry of Education for twelve years. He also has a bachelor degree in education (B.Ed.), a post-graduate degree in English literature (M.A) and the Cambridge English teaching certificate (CELTA). In December 2017, he published his first novel The Laugh of the Vanquished in English.
Currently, he is an EFL instructor in SV College, Ministry of Manpower, the Sultanate of Oman.
