About the Author: The author, Shobhit Dabral is a Master Mariner, Captain of merchant ships, keen science enthusiast and a fan of mythology from around the world.
Educated in schools in Dehradun and Delhi, he studied Nautical Science in South Shields, England. His travels in his profession have helped him to understand different cultures and their understanding of mythology from their respective regions.
Always one for telling stories to family and friends even as a kid, he thought of the idea for his first novel quite a few years back. Hoping not to get information in the story wrong, he began researching on various aspects of science and mythology till he was convinced he could put his ideas to a story correctly.
To engage with people with regards to his writing, he has been writing some short stories to be read for free and posting them online at shobhitdabral.com/blog. It is his belief that science and mythology are two faces of the same coin. He has explored various scientific concepts and tried to look at mythology through them in a story that is set in our time, but has origins in the history of humankind.
