The book is an attempt to compile the works of Artist S.Trilok Singh (1914-1990). He dedicated all his life to art and to convey the message of Gurbani through his paintings. Guru Gobind Singh Marg is the route taken by the Tenth Guru -Guru Gobind Singh from Anandpur Sahib to Talwandi Sabo. The map of the route was prepared by the Artist.

In the book we have given a brief introduction to the sacred places visited by the Guru on the way. we have tried to express in words what the Artist has conveyed through the paintings. Related works of the Artist are included in the book which is dedicated to the memory of the Artist.

About the Author: Artist S.Trilok Singh (1914-1990) has left behind a treasure-house of paintings with us. We had seen him preparing the painting from the very beginning. Every painting is a store-house of knowledge. It explains the meaning of Gurbani through illustrations. We wanted to compile the paintings in book form. It was not possible to include all the paintings in a single book. So selected paintings related to the topic- Guru Gobind Singh Marg from Anandpur Sahib to Talwandi Sabo are included in the book. Hope, we have done full justice in expressing in words what the Artist has conveyed through his brush on the canvas.
