Solace of the Sonnets - A Haiku Poetry Book
Lights, camera, accion... Solace Of The Sonnets is (finally!) here.
Welcome aboard, a Haiku book of hundred poems with illustrations — an articulation of experiences, caught in fleeting moment, throughout a span of one year — a oneness of descending madness, a turmoil of emotions, and innate thoughts one seeks an escape from.
Haiku poetry is a traditional form of Japanese poetry which consists of three lines with a syllable pattern of 5-7-5, or similar. These verses capture a moment in nature or seasons, often evoking emotions, and inviting reflection and contemplation via a minimalistic form of poetry.
Come, step into my world of artful literature, and a timeless tale of depth, and versatility. And stay sunken in sonnets, as must thee, with me!
About The Author: Born in 1997 in India, Hena Channa hails from a family of entrepreneurs and has majored in commerce throughout her academic years as well. The poet's early life was spent in reading (and befriending!) fictional characters she could often resonate with. She developed the art of writing at the age of 12 and pursued it professionally when she was 18. At 22, she transitioned to a communications specialist role until 25 — when she rerouted back to writing once again.
Author & poetess to her first poetry book, "Love: An Abyss Of Emotions", Hena Channa has also had multiple editorial pieces published across DU Beat, and many other online platforms. Her writings, especially poetry, come with evocative metaphors, soliloquies, and iambic pentameters that hallmark her style, enriching literature with a universal resonance.
