She Returns
Mayank, a young lovelorn, gets betrayed in his first love by his own best friend Rohan, who also loves the same girl named Simran in their class. The revelation of Rohan and Simran’s secret relationship breaks him from within and makes him laconic, melancholic and frustrated. However, God sends a newcomer in his class called Vivaan who becomes his true best friend. Living with the flow of fate, both of them meet their soulmates, Bhoomi and Chhavi, in their school days.
Presently, in the year 2024, Mayank becomes a renowned screen playwright and lives in Mumbai with Kartik, a film director who is like an elder brother for him. One day, he plans to return to his home town, Srinagar Garhwal after eleven long years to give a lecture at a university. But, before leaving from Mumbai, he gives Kartik a manuscript; to proofread and publish.
In the manuscript, Kartik finds about the heart-wrenching incident that separated Mayank from Bhoomi eleven years back. It is a story filled with romance, betrayal, unfulfilled promises and tragedies. It will also throw light on the love story of Vivaan and Chhavi who had the impediment of inter-caste marriage on their path to becoming one.
Mayank is on his way to Srinagar. However, Kartik, who is reading his manuscript on a balcony, gets a strong intuition that Mayank will not be safe there. Is Kartik’s premonition just a casual feeling or something is really lurking for him in the town? Let’s also find out where are Vivaan, Chhavi and Bhoomi after so many years and who returns in the end?
