The Right Thing To Do

There is a term in Sanskrit ‘samskara’ for which it is difficult to find an English equivalent.

For me, ‘samskara’ means all that is garnered from family and its traditions, teachers, peer group and the very environment one lives in. ‘Samskara’ guides one’s thinking and one’s actions, hence the importance of good samskara cannot be underestimated.

There is a saying in Tamil which means ‘what one does not learn at five will not be learnt at fifty’.

This book is primarily a book of gratitude to my parents, teachers and my good friends who let me know right from wrong. It is an effort to pass on somethings that I was told.

It is written with the hope that the young will create a wonderful new world.
