An Anonymous Guy
"The Anonymous Guy" is a story centred upon grave atrocities faced by Kashmiri Pandits during the 90's with the growth of militancy in the valley. A devastating flood had struck Badrinath where many pilgrims are in hope of their rescue. Dhruv, a survivor of the valley has reached Badrinath and lay severely injured with the flood victims. He has his last wish to narrate his story to some people present over there. Fortunately, he survives and gets accompanied by a newly made friend. This new friend, moved by his story, pledges to help him to avenge the massacre of his community. To accomplish their mission, they enter militant camps in disguise. There they get to know about a grand plan which has to be executed on 27 October. The plan is made to shatter the foundation of Indian state. These guys risk their lives to save the valley and hoist tricolor, shattering the dreams of terrorists.
About the Author: Vineet Ahlawat is a graduate in veterinary sciences from Hisar and passionate about writing. He has worked in the private sector and also prepared for civil services. But to pen down a book has always been there on his priority list.
Reading about Kashmiri Pandits motivated him to frame a fictional idea to regrow their self-belief. He wanted to make them acknowledge that the countrymen do sympathize with them and one day, they will surely get their rights. He believes that a single ray of hope can light many lamps in the future.
