Analytical Study of Graphene for Nanoelectronic Device and Sensor Applications

  • ₹ 150.00

Silicon is the most widely used element for fabrication of electronic devices today. Since the invention of the transistor in 1947, silicon has been used to fabricate transistors, microprocessors, integrated ICs and many more electronic solid state devices.

The project focuses on studying the properties of graphene for nanoelectronics and flexible sensor integration. Graphene has been simulated for different devices and applications to characterise its properties and usability.

The project compares the characteristics of graphene-based piezoresistors with polysilicon based piezoresistors. The simulation results show that replacing polysilicon with graphene has a comparative improvement for the piezoresistive pressure sensor.
