This is a fictional story based on the actual death of three people, two judges and a renowned cleric, in a span of a few weeks.

Detective Chief Superintendent Amber wakes up in a jail cell. She has no recollection of how she a senior law enforcement officer, ended up there. As she embarks on a journey to regain her memory and make sense of her plight she faces an assassination attempt by some fellow inmates.

Undeterred and added by her team she starts piecing together the events that led to her incarceration on a murder charge. As she digs deeper she stumbles on an espionage operation and finds ghosts of the past have come back to haunt her.

As the investigation progresses more bodies start falling but Amber, with a murder trial hanging over her head must navigate through the labyrinth of a conspiracy that points to the involvement of the deep state.
