Saran’s Laws
Saran’s Laws is essentially a graphic book of humour. It is also supercharged with hard-hitting criticism of the dumb and corrupt Boss whom we invariably encounter in our work environment. Many other management topics are also treated with humor, though briefly, like motivation, communication, safety, teamwork, happiness, misery, etc. If anyone has not had a hearty laugh in the last decade, then this is the book for them!
About the Author: Shankar Saran graduated in mechanical engineering from Bihar College of Engineering at Patna University in 1969 and served in the steel industry for over 36 years before retiring as General Manager (Env. & Safety) in July 2007. Rather than hanging up his boots, he took the challenge of sailing across the seven seas to pursue an MSc in Renewable Energy at the University of Reading, UK, in 2010. He came out with flying colours and secured a distinction at age 64, proving age is never an impediment to intellectual pursuit or delivery of excellence! He has travelled across the UK, the US, and the European continent and presented technical papers on safety and environmental management in India and abroad.
