Town Planning and Architecture are twin disciplines as old as human civilisation and so entwined with it that their products, namely, cities and buildings, respectively, touch peoples of the world as much as they touch individuals at all levels and at all times during their conventional life-span of three scores-and-ten or seventy years. The scope of these fields is thus intrinsically as comprehensive and complex and as continually evolving as human beings themselves.
