Every time I think of that day, I feel a beautiful shivering in my heart for a second and then in the spur of a moment it’s gone, replaced by the hurt. Neither I am the only one who has experienced it nor will I be the last one on this planet to feel it. Love is Love on every Planet; be it in humans, animals or aliens.

Everyone falls in love at least once in their lifetime. There are two kind of people: one who are lucky in love and the one who are unlucky. No matter whether one wants or not but sometimes someone's simplicity, lifestyle, nature or even the craziness makes you realize that they are the one you are looking for. It’s never planned, it just happens. Suddenly, all the romantic songs start making sense and you start finding your life fitting the curves of songs. You feel the breeze, you find the clouds romantic, nature appears more beautiful and things change in the most amazing way you can ever imagine. Desktop of your life turns from monochrome to colourful, with a high level of brightness and glaze. Everything turns positive, you begin to live, your mundane life brightens. Nights and days start getting shorter and shorter. You start wishing that the time pauses forever and all you want is to keep looking into their eyes, the silence mutes and the only thing you want to hear is their voice.

It’s not necessary that every story ends according to one's heart. You break and shatter and never feel like getting up again. Your castle crumbles in no time. It’s like you had everything a few seconds ago and now you have nothing left but limitless pain and your heart fights to find the answers to some questions that will never be answered. You start to curse yourself and wish that you had not said those things. But Alas! Time doesn’t always give you a second chance, you will not be able to reverse it and you will keep regretting it.

About the Author: I'm a part-time self-publishing writer. This is my first novel which I started in 2013 and could complete only after I met Love of my life. She has been a great inspiration and support in completing this book. After finishing my college from IIT currently, I am working as a full-time engineer in R&D.
